Geography

Ambulatoris is a unique, mobile kingdom built atop a colossal, walking platform known as the Ambulatorium, it is neither a living creature nor a construct created artificially; instead it is something in between both of those things. The platform traverses vast landscapes on both land and primarily water, allowing the kingdom to move to fertile lands, avoid natural disasters, and explore new territories. The city is characterized by tall, emerald-topped towers and intricate designs that reflect a blend of artistry and advanced engineering.

Government and Politics

The kingdom is governed by a council known as the Migrant Assembly, which is composed of representatives from various sectors of society. The council is led by the Nomarch, a leader chosen for their wisdom and ability to guide the kingdom through its ever-changing journey but above all else to ensure the safety of the being that moves the Kingdom. Decisions are made collectively, with a focus on the welfare and sustainability of the mobile city; with a vote being held for most things aside from matters pertaining to the creature itself.

Above the council is the Brain Tower, a large tower that stands in the middle of the Kingdom and does not permit the entry of people in or out of it. This tower isn't run by any person, but rather is alive, and carries out almost robotic-like calculations to ensure its safety.

Economy

Ambulatoris thrives on a diverse economy driven by trade, crafts, and innovative technologies. The kingdom's mobility allowed it to engage in trade with numerous other settlements and regions, bringing in exotic goods and resources much easier than it would be for other Kingdoms. Artisans and engineers are highly valued, creating goods ranging from intricate jewelry to advanced machinery. The kingdom also benefits from the natural resources of the lands it traverses being able to collect a large horde of resources before moving on.

Culture and Society

The culture of Ambulatoris is vibrant and dynamic, reflecting the kingdom's perpetual journey as it continous to collect new things and people wherever it goes. The inhabitants, known as Ambulators, are adaptable and resilient, valuing innovation, exploration, and community but are very welcoming to new people and ideas.

Festivals and celebrations often coincide with the kingdom's arrival in new regions, celebrating the diversity and experiences gained from their travels they often take part in other festivals held by Kingdoms allowing them to partake in a vast variety of events.

Military

Ambulatoris maintains a capable defense force known as the Amber Knights. This force is trained in both traditional combat and the unique challenges of defending a moving city often times being able to freely fly in the air or survive underwater for a long time. The Ambulatorium itself is equipped with defensive mechanisms and can move swiftly to avoid threats or destroy anything that tries to get in its way.

Religion and Beliefs

The people of Ambulatoris worship no particular God and are instead open to religion as they often travel and experience many different things. Due to this they never enforce any form of religion or even make religious buildings.
