Decisions are made through a council-like structure where the most influential merchants—referred to as the Union Council—convene to discuss strategies, resolve disputes, and set the direction for the Union's activities.

This structure allows them to maintain a very diverse range of expertise, with members of the union coming from various backgrounds, including trade, finance, logistics, and negotiations. This diversity ensures that the Union has a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of commerce.

Even with this diversity, their mutual respect and profit-driven decisions allow them to maintain a balance and peace within the Union, with no single person or group holding control over the Union. All decisions that are made by the Council are driven by the potential for profit the group, rather than one prerson, ensuring that the Union remains the focused core of wealth.

The Merchant Union operates across all Clans and Kingdoms in the world of Shinseina, leveraging its extensive network of connections and a vast array of merchandise to dominate trade and commerce. They have established themselves as indispensable intermediaries, facilitators, and providers of goods and services.

Their extensive network is able to extend to every corner of the world, with agents and representatives stationed in all major cities and trade hubs, along with wandering the lands. This network allows them to move goods efficiently and respond quickly to market demands and needs.

Thanks to this network, they maintain a diverse range of merchandise that can only be found in specific areas, and shuffle it through their entire range, allowing them to profit the most from rare goods. Controlling the market and ensuring their power is never threatened.

While the Merchant Union is not a hostile or militaristic group, they understand the importance of protecting their interests. To ensure their operations run smoothly and their assets remain secure, they employ a powerful set of protectors known as the Union Guardians.

These Union Guardians are all elites, highly trained and well-equipped individuals tasked with safeguarding the Union's interests. They are experts in security, combat, and intelligence gathering. Unlike traditional military forces, the Guardians operate discreetly and focus on preventing threats and neutralizing potential dangers before they escalate.

Aside from the Union Guardians, the Union is believed to be backed by a very powerful, individual or group, that is believed to be very secretive in their involvement in the Union. This backing ensures that the Union can maintain its dominance and continue to expand its influence, for its own goals.
