Long ago, in the land of Shinseina, there was a beautiful maiden named Lunaria, who lived in a small and remote village near a tranquil lake, a lake said to hold the reflection of the moon in it every full moon.
Lunaria was known for her kindness and her gentle nature made her loved by many. She spent most of her days taking care of her elderly grandmother and helping the people in her village with their daily tasks.
One night, as Lunaria was walking by the lake, she saw a reflection of herself in the water with the bright and silvery moon hanging just above her in its all-imposing glory.
Just the sight of it gave Lunaria an odd feeling, her heart started to beat fast as her body was filled with an unusual yet pleasant feeling. It was as if her body was being born anew.
The next day, Lunaria woke up feeling different. She had an inexplicable strength and agility, and she could see and hear things that others couldn't. As days passed, Lunaria began to believe that she had been blessed by the goddess of the moon, and had become the Moon Maiden.
With her newfound powers, Lunaria became a protector of her village and the surrounding forests. She could sense danger from afar and would rush to the aid of anyone in need. Her kindness and bravery soon became known throughout the land, and people started to worship her as a goddess.
However, not everyone was happy with Lunaria's rise to power. The lord of a neighboring village, jealous of her popularity, sent his army to capture her and bring her to him. But Lunaria, with her incredible strength and agility, managed to escape and disappeared into the forests.
Since then, the Moon Maiden has become a legend in Shinseina, a symbol of hope and courage for those in need. Some say that she still roams the forests, protecting the weak and punishing the wicked. And on nights of the full moon, people gather by the lake to honor her and pray for her blessings.
