Currency Information

Common Currency

The Shin Coins (¤) is the main currency used in the world of Shinseina, being used in all four clans and vastly across the region, it is what one would refer to as a 'universally accepted currency'.

In terms of physical size, the Coins themselves range according to the type, such as:

Copper has a diameter of 1.5 inches and a thickness of .080 inches.
Silver has a diameter of 2 inches and a thickness of .080 inches.
Gold has a diameter of 1 inch and a thickness of .070 inches.
Crystal has a diameter of 1 inch and a thickness of .090 inches.

As for the worth of each coin, they also vary depending on the coin itself:

100 Copper Coins = 1 Silver Coin.
10 Silver Coins = 1 Gold Coin.
10 Gold Coins = 1 Crystal Coin.

Draconic Currency

The Draconic Coin is the only form of currency used within the Draconic Realm and is commonly used among the Dragons. While the coin doesn't hold major value within the four main clans of Shinseina, within the Draconic Realm, and among the Dragons, it is quite valuable.

Now unlike the Shin Coins, the Draconic Coin doesn't come in multiple forms, and there is only one of its kind; with a physical size of 2.5 inches in diameter and .060 inches in thickness.

While the coin doesn't hold major value within the four clans of Shinseina, its estimated value is said to be anywhere near 1 Draconic Coin equalling 10 Copper Shin Coins. While this is just a rough estimate, the actual value can vary within the Draconic Realm, depending on the item it is being bargained for.

Elven Currency

The Elven Coin is a currency that is used primarily amongst the members of the elven race, commonly being used as a form of currency within Elven Tribes and villages. While the currency isn't majorly used amongst the four major Clans, the Beast Clan, however, does accept it as a form of currency in most places.

Unlike the Shin Coins, the elven currency does not common in multiple forms, and there is only one type of its kind; this coin being 1 inch in diameter and .050 inches in thickness.

The Coin is estimated to worth anywhere near 1 Elven Coin to 5 Copper Coins, or in some elven tribes, it is equal to 10 Copper Coins.

Magic Currency

The Magic Coins is a form of currency that is commonly used amongst magicians and people that specialize in the practice of magic, being accepted by all of the major Clans and even by most settlements of people. The currency is rather rare to be used, not only because they are worth a lot, but because the process of making them is rather difficult, causing only a few thousand of each type to be in circulation.

The process to make one requires a large amount of mana to be infused into the coin before it is completed, giving it a glow once it is all done, and increasing the worth of it thanks to that. This is because the use of the coin isn't limited to simple currency, in fact, it is often used as an ingredient or even as a way to temporarily boost the mana output of a person.

There are two types of Magic Coins currently in circulation around the world, the two types being:

The Damone Coin, a coin that is 1 inch in diameter and has a thickness of .060 inches. The Coin is silverish in color, with the pattern of a person on it.
The Fae Coin, a coin that is 1.5 inches in diameter and has a thickness of .075 inches. The Coin is goldish in color, with the pattern of mana flowing on it.

The Damone Coin is equal to 10 Silver Shin Coins.
The Fae Coin is equal to 15 Gold Shin Coins.
