The Guild is an organization that was originally formed thousands of years ago thanks to a group of like-minded individuals that wished to further and protect their individual interests. This led to them deciding to work together to protect that interest together, as a whole, and thus came together to form the Guild as we know it today.
Formed by a group of people named; Vicar Ferant, Reeve Mainard, Baron Tybaut, Flossie Parrish, Esther Cummings, and Paula Roberson. The group originally started as nothing more than 6 people of different backgrounds, merchants, knights, and nobles alike, that wished to profit more.
However, as the guild become more well-known, it started to accept more people and grew to such a large size and standing that not even the Clans could limit them any longer.
Eventually, they even grow powerful enough to break free from the limits of the Clans altogether and became an independent group that was not limited by the nobles of the Clans, yet they held a branch in each major city.
How they were able to grow this powerful is quite frankly largely unknown, with many believing it to be due to their political connections in each Clan, while others believe it to be because they held the power of the adventurers, a large group of civilians, on their side.
However for as unknown as it may be, one thing is certain, the Guild is a very powerful organization, with backings that aren't completely known.
Each major city, in all the Clans, has a Guild Hall, a place where the guild would operate in that city, where their quests, management, and adventurers would gather.
With each guildhall being managed by a Guild Master, a person with capabilities rivaling that of even a royal knight. Trained to properly run the Guild Hall and report directly to the people above them regularly.
Above each Guild Master, at the top of the guild organization is said to be a group of people that monitor and insure the guild runs as it should, with names unknown to the public, they are simply called the Guild Founders.
People believe that their power can rival that of a duke or monarch, but they have never been seen, and have become nothing more than a rumor.
Joining the guild wasn’t hard, anyone could join as an adventurer as long as they proved to have the skills, simply speaking to a guild worker and getting a badge was all that was needed. Even normal people that weren’t adventurers were able to do quests, however, they received fewer benefits from the guild, and their families aren't compensated if they die.
