Seeking Death, Only To Find Life

Inmortui-Mortem is a vast and ancient underground kingdom that has only recently emerged after centuries of dormancy. It stretches through an enormous network of caves, tunnels, and caverns that reach across a massive portion of the underground world and even continue beneath the ocean. Its overall size is believed to be comparable to that of entire Clans, making it one of the largest known kingdoms hidden below the surface. Massive structures of dark stone dominate the landscape, illuminated by eerie green lights, while a thick green mist hangs throughout much of the kingdom.

Very little is known about how Inmortui-Mortem is governed. It is believed that the entire kingdom is dominated by a single entity that rules over the beings living within it, though this has never been confirmed. Access to the kingdom is nearly impossible for outsiders, leaving most information about its leadership based on what little has been observed from the outside.

The kingdom appears to be completely self-sufficient, with no known external trade and no visible reliance on resources from the surface. Because of its isolation, almost nothing is known about how its internal economy functions or how resources are distributed among those who live there.

The society of Inmortui-Mortem is equally secretive and insular, shaped by centuries of isolation and apparent hostility toward the surface world. Almost nothing is known about its culture, traditions, or daily life, as there has been little to no peaceful contact with those inside the kingdom. The few encounters that have taken place with its inhabitants have been hostile in nature, leaving the outside world with more questions than answers about what truly exists beneath the surface.
