What is the Criminal System?
Using the Criminal System, criminals that are made are able to gain notoriousity through the actions they commit in roleplay, and thus gain higher fame, or rather infamy, around the world of Shinseina. Thus making them more recognizable by both the general public and the people of authority that hunt them down.
Granting them both benefits and disadvantages for being a Criminal.

What is the point of the Criminal System?
The Criminal System adds a few more 'realistic' things to the roleplay that would make it more interesting for all to take part in, specifically criminals and people that arrest them.
The System allows criminals to actually have a purpose in roleplay aside from simply being a role that people hold, along with giving them a purpose for the crimes they commit. Making roleplaying as them more enjoyable to people that wish to play as them.
This also adds the possibility of having characters with other statuses, that aren't criminals, to become criminals if they commit crimes via roleplay, and thus be listed publically as wanted.

How does the Criminal System work?
The Criminal System is rather simple, for each crime your character commits, as long as it is publically known in roleplay, your character will gain points that increase their ranking amongst criminals.
A leaderboard of criminals will be made, and the higher your ranking on this leaderboard, the more your wanted bounty will be, meaning the more people will be after you in roleplay, and the more infamy you will have.
Points will be tallied and given by members of the GM Team, and Roleplay Team as long as you ping them for the crime you're committing, or they see the crime. And at the end of each week, the leaderboard will be updated.
How does this benefit the Criminal?
Well, while it doesn't directly benefit the criminal it does grant them some benefit for actually being ranked high on the leaderboard.
Simply put, the higher your ranking is, the more well-known you are and the more 'frightening' you will be to others. Granting you a sort of reputation you could use to your benefit. This also allows you to have more connections on the dark web, and have easier access to dark web merchandise.
This also comes with the downside that more bounty hunters will be after you, but if you are capable of dealing with the people after you, you will also gain the things on their corpses.
How would the points be awarded to people that commit crimes?
Largely the amount you receive is dependent on the GM Team, or Roleplay Team member that is overseeing the situation, however, below is a list of things that can play a part in the number of points you receive.
1. Murder - Murder is a heavy crime and if it is found you would obviously get a lot more points for it than most other things, depending on the person murdered you can earn a lot more. Normally, the life of an average commoner is worth around 30 Points or more, with the life of a Low Ranking Noble being around 100 Points or more, and High Ranking Noble being around 200 or more Points.
2. Robbery - Robbery is a crime with varying amounts of points earned depending on what exactly you are stealing, which can range from anywhere between 1-100 Points.
3. Kidnapping - Kidnapping can vary depending on the person you kidnap, the actions taken to do so, and how you deal with them afterward, but it can vary anywhere between 30-70 Points.
4. Assault - Assault can vary depending on how badly you assaulted the person, and the person assaulted, varying between 10-50 Points.
Any other crime that isn't listed here is up to the person overseeing the situation to decide as they see fit, with the amount of roleplay and effort put into the roleplay itself playing a large part in how much you are awarded.
