Esse: Restoration, Soul, Sacrifice

Ranking: A-Rank

Effect: This rune can revive a dead person or creature. The success and condition of revival depend on the strength of the soul and how long the target has been dead; however, it never fully revives them at full power, as pieces of them will always be missing from the time they spent dead.

Activation Method: Active activation through engraving and sustained mana flow into the rune.

Mana Source: User + Ambient: Requires an extremely high amount of magic drawn from both the user and the surrounding area.

Duration: Variable. The time limit for revival changes depending on the strength of the soul and the time since death.

Limitations & Side Effects:

• Failure to properly engrave the rune can kill the user.

• May cause the user and or the revived individual to lose aspects of themselves.

• Can only be used once per person.

• Shortens the life-span of the user.

Requirements: Extremely high runic skill and magical capacity required. Permission only.
