Abilities:

- Dark Mana formulates their entire being, and can be used as projectiles.

- Diffusion into mist, allowing them to avoid attacks and re-materialize within 20 meters

- Can create momentary clones of themselves for distraction or attacking, and can alter this ability to mirror physical strikes or create lightning-fast barrages.

- Necrotic melee strikes, as a result of the Dark Mana

- Nigh unmatched physical capabilities and combat technique

- No weak points or biological functions; they must be whittled down until they cannot sustain their form, and poisons are ineffective against them

- Empowered by mana associated with negative emotions, even regenerating their form through it.

Region: The Forsaken Lands

Description: Akumo are a fauna which manifest entirely from Dark Mana and the remnant essence of those who have fallen in the Forsaken Lands, coalescing from wrath and despair just to inflict even more of it. They're sadistic monsters that aim solely to torment and slaughter more things within their sight. They care not for other fauna native to their homeland, but will gladly tear anything else apart without second thought. When they find a victim, they will refuse to let up without either party dying, with some stories alleging that Akumos have chased some people into villages and the end result was a genocide that wiped the entire settlement out. Some unarmed combatants willingly seek out fights with the Akumo as a test of skill and learning experience, for these monsters have unrivaled talent in the art of fisticuffs and seem to innately know numerous combative styles.
