Market Price:
20 to 25 Copper for a small bottle.
50 to 70 Copper for a medium bottle.
1 to 3 Silver for a large bottle.
Alchemical Rarity: Common
Alchemical Information: A basic and widely sold mana-restoring potion used by anyone who relies on mana during work or combat. The potion usually has a blue-purple color, though the shade may change depending on the alchemist, ingredients, and region it was brewed in. Mana Potions are considered one of the most important alchemical products in Shinseina, but even common versions require proper brewing. Badly made ones can restore mana unevenly, cause mana sickness, or leave the drinker feeling worse than before.
Alchemical Effect: Once consumed, the potion restores a portion of the user’s mana.
Small Bottle:
Restores a low amount of mana.
Best used after light casting or when recovering from minor mana loss.
Medium Bottle:
Restores a moderate amount of mana.
Best used after several spells or during longer encounters.
Large Bottle:
Restores a high amount of mana.
Best used after heavy spellcasting, high-rank spells, or serious mana drain.
Mana Potions do not increase maximum mana, improve spell power, remove cooldowns, heal mana pathway damage, or fix blocked magic. They only restore mana the user has already spent.
Alchemical Side Effects:
Can only be safely used once every 6 turns.
Drinking another Mana Potion before the 6-turn limit can cause mana sickness, making the user dizzy, nauseous, and unstable when casting.
Overuse may cause headaches, mana pathway strain, failed spells, or temporary difficulty controlling mana.
The potion does not taste good, and larger bottles are harder to stomach.
