Practitioners of this technique learn to merge seamlessly with shadows around them and blend into the environment in order to gain the advantage of stealth. It is a technique created by and favored by spies, assassins, and those who prefer the cover of darkness for their actions.
Pathways:
Stage One: To master the first stage, the user must attune their minds to the presence of shadows. This involves practicing in low-light environments, honing their senses to perceive the subtlest changes in light and darkness. They learn to blend their presence with shadows, making them harder to detect.
Bonus: Mastering this stage allows the user to become near-invisible to normal types of eyesight in dim light, making them exceptionally difficult to spot.
Backlash: Struggling to control their presence might lead to occasional flickers of visibility, especially in areas with unpredictable lighting.
Stage Two: In this stage, the user must refine their essence with the essence of shadows and stealth, they must learn to numb their senses and sounds, they must learn to move without making a single sound, and act without a single flicker.
Bonus: Mastering this stage grants the user the ability to completely blend into the shadows around them when they aren't being watched, being able to move within connected shadows freely.
Backlash: Overexertion within the shadows may lead to the user being forced out of the shadows. While inside a shadow, the user can not attack without coming out.
Final Stage: Mastery of the Stealth Seeker Technique at this stage enables the user to meld with shadows completely. They can traverse through shadows, instantly appearing and disappearing in areas of darkness. Additionally, they can manipulate shadows to bind or disorient foes. In order to do so, they must learn the meaning of stealth and shadows.
Bonus: Mastering this stage grants the user the ability to teleport between shadows, making them almost impossible to track. They can also solidify shadows into limited tangible constructs in order to bind or hold targets, with the shadows being the strength of 2x iron.
Backlash: Prolonged usage of this technique can strain the user's eyes, making it difficult for them to see clearly in well-lit environments, over using the tangible constructs can lead to mental strain.
