Hidei Magic - Borrowed Breath

Type of Spell: Hidei Magic

Spell Power Ranking: D

Description: The caster takes a small strip of cloth carrying the target's scent and ties it around the neck of an empty bottle. Once mana is fed into the vessel, the bottle begins filling with faint mist whenever the target exhales. For up to 8 turns, the caster may uncork the bottle once per turn to steal the ease from that breath, causing the target's chest to tighten and reducing their physical stamina and strength by 15% for that turn. The mist cannot suffocate them, but repeated use makes sustained exertion and long chants noticeably harder.

Mana Cost: Low

Limitations & Side Effects:

- Boost Limit: May boost Duration or Debuff Strength, not both.

- Requires cloth that has been worn close enough to retain the target's scent.

- The bottle must remain sealed between uses or the spell ends.

- The effect cannot stop breathing or cause unconsciousness.

- Only one breath may be affected per turn.

- Does not affect beings that do not breathe.

Cooldown: 7 Turns

Requirements: An empty bottle and a strip of cloth carrying the target's scent.
