Hidei Magic - Crooked Coin

Type of Spell: Hidei Magic

Spell Power Ranking: D

Description: The caster places a coin the target has previously handled beneath their tongue, then spits it into a closed hand while feeding mana into it. For up to 8 turns, the coin becomes a vessel for the target's luck in small immediate actions. Once per turn, the caster may flip the coin. On tails, the target suffers a brief misfortune such as a grip slipping, footing faltering, aim drifting, or a simple action becoming harder to complete, reducing the effectiveness of that action by 15%. On heads, nothing happens and the coin cannot be flipped again until the next turn.

Mana Cost: Low

Limitations & Side Effects:

- Boost Limit: May boost Duration or Debuff Strength, not both.

- Requires a coin the target has physically handled before.

- The spell only affects minor immediate actions and cannot cause major accidents, severe injuries, or guaranteed failure.

- Only one action may be affected per turn.

- If the coin is lost, broken, or taken from the caster, the spell ends.

- The caster must physically flip the coin for the effect to trigger.

Cooldown: 7 Turns

Requirements: A coin previously handled by the target.
