Hidei Magic - Stitched Mouth

Type of Spell: Hidei Magic

Spell Power Ranking: B

Description: The caster takes a strip of cloth carrying the target's trace, folds it around a written version of their name, then stitches the bundle shut with thread. Once mana is fed into it, the target's ability to speak, chant, or verbally shape magic becomes bound to the stitches for up to 16 turns. Each time the caster pulls one stitch tighter, the target's voice weakens further, making spoken casting, commands, and sound-based abilities increasingly difficult. If every stitch is tightened, the target can only produce a faint whisper until the spell ends or the vessel is opened.

Mana Cost: High

Limitations & Side Effects:

- Boost Limit: May boost Duration, Binding Strength, or the number of affected verbal functions, but only one.

- Requires a personal trace belonging to the target and their correct name.

- Tightening a stitch requires the caster to physically manipulate the vessel.

- The target can still speak normally if the stitches are cut or the bundle is opened.

- Destroying the vessel ends the spell immediately.

Cooldown: 22 Turns

Requirements: Cloth carrying the target's trace, thread, a needle, and their written name.
