Hidei Magic - The Black Testament

Description: The caster creates a complete effigy of a target using several personal traces, then places written fragments representing their body, magic, name, possessions, and bonds inside it. Once the vessel is sealed, it becomes a true sympathetic stand-in for the target for up to 30 turns. Anything deliberately done to the effigy can be imposed onto the target in an equivalent form: binding the hands restrains their arms, sealing the mouth suppresses speech, removing a written spell-name can temporarily lock that spell away, placing a possession inside the chest can force it back into their ownership, and pinning a written curse to the body can transfer that curse onto them. The caster may also reverse the process, using the effigy to pull wounds, debuffs, curses, or restraints off the target and trap them inside the vessel instead. Once during the spell, the caster may invoke Final Testament, causing every active change made through the effigy to occur at once at full strength and remain for 5 turns even if the vessel is destroyed afterward.

Limitations & Side Effects:

- Boost Limit: May boost Duration, Number of Active Bindings, or Final Testament Strength, but only one.

- Requires multiple genuine personal traces from the target.

- The effigy must contain at least one written fragment representing each category the caster intends to manipulate.

- A maximum of 6 separate effects may be maintained through the effigy at once.

- The caster cannot create an effect with the effigy that has no symbolic representation prepared inside it.

- EX-Rank abilities, permanent traits, souls, and unique existence-based properties cannot be completely removed, but may be heavily restricted.

- The target may resist effects that would directly force death, permanent mutilation, or total loss of self.

- Destroying or unsealing the effigy ends all normal active effects immediately.

- Final Testament may only be used once per cast.

- After Final Testament, the effigy permanently burns away and cannot be reused.

- The caster is unable to cast Hidei Magic for 1 IRP week afterward.
