The pill is usually deep red, with a bright center that looks almost alive when held under light; the Blooming Death Pill is a trial sealed into alchemical form, once consumed, it forces the body and mind into a cocooned state, trapping the consumer between life and death until they either overcome what waits inside, or fail to return at all.

Alchemical Effect: Once consumed, the pill forces the user into a cocooned state and begins the Blooming Death Trial.

• The user is sealed inside an alchemical cocoon and cannot move during the trial.

• Inside the cocoon, the user is forced to face exactly 99 life and death challenges.

• These challenges may take the form of combat, puzzles, memories, survival trials, illusions, fears, or other near-death situations.

• If the user clears all 99 challenges, they break free from the cocoon and permanently gain +6x to all physical and magical capabilities as well as a new and unknown ability suited to the trials.

• The pill can only successfully affect a person once.

Alchemical Side Effects:

• The trial cannot be paused once it begins.

• The cocoon can be damaged from the outside, but breaking it early may kill the user or leave them permanently damaged.

• Failing the trial may result in death, coma, broken mana flow, physical mutation, or the user waking up with no reward.

• Taking another Blooming Death Pill after succeeding will not grant another boost, and may instead force the body into rejection.
