Alchemical Name: Paralyzation Potion
Market Region: Vampire Clan and Demon Clan
Market Price:
2 Silver for a small bottle.
5 Silver for a large bottle.
Large bottles may cost more through illegal sellers.
Alchemical Rarity: Rare
Alchemical Information: A yellow-tinted paralytic potion that gives off a yellow mist when exposed to open air. The mist itself has no effect, but it makes the potion easy to identify if the bottle is cracked, opened, or poorly sealed. It is made to interrupt the body’s ability to move without fully shutting down the mind, leaving the affected person aware but unable to properly control their body.
Alchemical Effect: Once injected into the body or consumed, the potion begins attacking the target’s motor control.
Small Bottle:
Paralyzes the affected target for 1 turns.
Takes 1 turn to fully set in.
During the set-in turn, the target may feel stiffness, slowed movement, and difficulty controlling their limbs.
Large Bottle:
Paralyzes the affected target for 1 turns.
Takes 3 turn to fully set in.
During the set-in turn, movement becomes heavily impaired before the paralysis fully takes hold.
Alchemical Side Effects:
The potion must be injected, consumed, or enter through an open wound to work. Skin contact alone does nothing.
Large creatures around 10 feet tall or bigger, or creatures weighing around 300 pounds or more, can resist the potion better. Against them, the potion takes more turns to fully set in.
Creatures with abnormal biology, high poison resistance, strong regeneration, or body-control abilities may reduce the paralysis.
The potion is less reliable against undead, constructs, slime-like bodies, plant-like bodies, or beings without normal nerves and muscles.
After the paralysis ends, the target may suffer numbness, shaking limbs, and delayed movement for 2 turns.
Multiple doses do not stack paralysis duration past the large bottle’s normal limit.
