Alchemical Information: A harsh acidic potion made to melt and break down physical materials. It is usually stored in thick black glass or treated metal containers, since cheaper bottles can weaken over time and eventually leak. The liquid is usually a deep black color, and when poured onto something, it hisses violently and releases a disgusting burning smell.

Alchemical Effect: Once poured onto a material, the potion begins eating through it over the course of the turn. The stronger the material, the more potion is required.

Small Bottle:

• Strong enough to melt through most things below MoH 4.

• Can weaken thin metal, but usually cannot fully melt through it.

Medium Bottle:

• Strong enough to melt through most things below MoH 5-6.

• Takes 1 turn to properly eat through tougher metals.

Large Bottle:

• Strong enough to melt through most things below MoH 7-8.

• Takes 1 to 2 turns depending on the thickness and quality of the material.

Alchemical Side Effects:

• When the potion melts something, it releases a horrible burning smell that is easy to notice nearby.

• The smell can irritate the nose, throat, and eyes if someone stays too close without protection.

• If splashed onto skin, it can cause painful burns, but it is not strong enough to instantly melt a person unless poured in large amounts and left untreated.

• If consumed, the potion can cause severe internal burning, vomiting blood, throat damage, and possible death without quick treatment.

• Poorly stored bottles may leak, crack, or slowly damage nearby materials.
